Is that email offering to carry your items on Amazon really from Jeff Bezos?
Retrieving the source, envelope, and header of an email may vary slightly depending on the email program you are using. Below are instructions for doing so in the top ten email programs as of my last knowledge update in September 2021. Please note that the user interface and options may have changed since then, so refer to the latest documentation or help resources provided by the email program for the most up-to-date instructions.
1. **Gmail:**
- Open the email you want to view.
- Click the three vertical dots (More options) in the top-right corner of the email.
- Select "Show original" to view the email's source and header.
2. **Outlook (Web):**
- Open the email you want to view.
- Click the ellipsis (...) in the top-right corner of the email.
- Choose "View message details" to see the email's header information.
3. **Outlook (Desktop - Microsoft Outlook):**
- Open the email you want to view.
- In the email window, go to the "File" tab.
- Click on "Properties" to view the email's header.
4. **Apple Mail (Mac):**
- Open the email.
- Go to "View" in the menu bar.
- Select "Message" > "All Headers" to view the email's full header.
5. **Thunderbird:**
- Open the email.
- Right-click on the email in the message list.
- Choose "View Source" to see the email's source and header.
6. **Yahoo Mail:**
- Open the email you want to view.
- Click the three horizontal dots (More actions) in the upper-right corner.
- Choose "View raw message" to view the email's source and header.
7. **AOL Mail:**
- Open the email.
- Click on the three horizontal dots (More) in the upper-right corner.
- Select "View Message Source" to view the email's source and header.
8. **ProtonMail:**
- Open the email.
- Click on the three vertical dots (More) in the upper-right corner.
- Choose "Show Headers" to view the email's header.
9. **Zoho Mail:**
- Open the email.
- Click on the three horizontal dots (More) in the upper-right corner.
- Select "View Headers" to see the email's header information.
10. **Mailbird (Windows):**
- Open the email.
- Click on the down arrow next to the time in the upper, right-hand corner.
- Choose "Message Source" to access the email's source and header.
Keep in mind that email programs may update their interfaces and features over time, so it's a good idea to refer to their official documentation or support resources if you can't find these options in the current version of the software you're using.
